Tracking my wanderlust need to get out of town once a month

Mike and I explored a new area near my brother's house on Long Island. There were a few inches of wet snow on the ground, and it was raining and snowing on us while we were out. The wet snow was tough to move through, but the woods were beautiful. I couldn't figure out the USGS map we had, but Mike could. It was a fun outing, but tiring.

This also counted as my "something new" for today.
