Mike, Gene, Fritz and I did some orienteering practice at Clinton today. It was a beautiful warm day, great to be outdoors. Mike, Gene and I each set out three controls, then came back to the cars. One by one we went out onto the course. I felt OK running (no problem with the Achilles) but my orienteering wasn't as sharp as I'd like. No big booms, but I did a poor job of looking ahead and "seeing" the terrain. I need to work on that. My time was 1.68 Mike's time.

I also took some fitness measures this morning. Resting HR has dropped to 65, and my step test HR dropped to 116. Small, but real, improvements.
