Tracking my wanderlust need to get out of town once a month

I couldn't make it to the Night O at SMP last night. Instead, I ran along the Clive Greenbelt (in Des Moines) for 30 minutes. It's a nice paved trail, very much like the Indian Creek Trail in KC. My Achilles bothered me a bit. I first noticed it the day before at SMP, but I thought it was just stiff from lack of warm-up. Now I think I stressed it, so I'll try to rest for a day or two.
