Tracking my wanderlust need to get out of town once a month

Today Mike and I orienteered on his new map (still in progress). The cool thing was the controls: Mike has made some mini-markers that are quite easy to carry, yet are large enough to see from a distance. We bought some fabric yesterday, I gave him a few minutes of instruction on the serger, and he was off! He made 5 markers in a few hours. (I must admit it's strange to see Mike at the serger in my sewing room!)

I warmed up for 20 minutes today, then ran/walked the 2.1 K course in 22 minutes. It was a lot of fun on this cold December day.
